The elegant jacket is black velvet with Gothic decorative lace appliqués on each front lapel. The inside panel flaps have black button closures. It has a standing collar and puffed tucks at the shoulders of the long sleeves. Vintage-style silver-tone buttons decorate the sleeve cuffs. They are not working buttons. They are strictly for decorative purposes. The back of the jacket has Victorian-style corset lacings.
This Gothic Victorian short jacket is a fangtastic vampiress costume accessory for Halloween parties, Cosplay events, semi-formal dinners, tea parties, or you can wear it daily to dress up a pair of jeans or skinny leather pants.
The jacket is a slim fit and runs small. It goes up to a 4X-Large, but be sure to use the vendor’s size chart and not Amazon’s chart to match your measurements against theirs. I normally have to wear a medium even though I have a petite frame because of my large bust size. In this jacket, I wear an XL if I want to button it and have it a little loose. If I plan on leaving it open or decide I want a snug fit when buttoned then I can wear a Large.
Another thing to take into consideration is the back lacings. They are workable so they can be adjusted for a better fit.
