I am featuring several selections of Guardians of the Galaxy women costumes for each female character. After looking at hundreds of costumes, I have narrowed down my selection to a few for each character.
Many of the costumes I have seen from more than 20 different manufacturers look the same at first glance. However, while some had major differences others had very subtle changes. I have selected the costumes I thought the best for different budgets and events.
For example, a cosplay costume probably won’t be wanted by someone with a smaller budget looking for a Halloween costume. On the opposite end of the spectrum, someone involved in a theater production, or a costumer who frequents cosplay, RPG, or LARP events will be looking for a more authentic and detailed costume. The more detailed the costume, the better the quality of the fabric, and the more accessories included will drive up the cost of the costume.
Gamora Costumes
Guardians of the Galaxy
As a former assassin, Gamora is tougher and stronger than Star-Lord, Pete Quill, with his very human boyish charm. Additionally, she is quicker and more reliable. Unfortunately, MCU has chosen to put Gamora in the role of the damsel in distress. Peter has to save her rather than the other way around. Wouldn’t it make much more sense to have Gamora (the tougher, stronger, and quicker of the two) save him?
Marvel is little-by-little chipping away at the “all boys club“, but in the case of Gamora, played by Zoë Saldana, not soon enough! Even with this type of film bias, we are still a fan as it is a fun and entertaining film.
For those of us following the film world of the MCU, Guardians of the Galaxy is a “must see” to be prepared for the following Avengers: Infinity Wars. After all, Gamora is the adopted daughter of Thanos.
Gamora becomes the Star Lords love interest in Volume 2, with neither of them wanting to admit it. They both continue to side-step the issue and at times walk on eggshells around each other while they protect each other backs in all adversity situations.

In order to really get the look of the Gamora character you have chosen to be, you will need to change your hair color. You can either dye it with temprary hair color or you can wear a cosplay costume wig.
For the second Guardian of the Galaxy movie you will need to give your long hair brown hair an ombre pink and red temporary dye application. If you don’t have long brown hair, then a wig is the solution to this dilemma.
Accessory props are needed to bring the Gamora character to life. It is all in the detailing to create the essence of an authentic character. With the addition of costume accessory props the ultimate costume is achieved.
Mantis is a female insectoid creature. She was found, while still in the larvae stage, and raised into a humanoid by a Celestial being named Ego. Ego is the Star Lord, Peter Quill’s father. Mantis is a psychic empathic. This means she has the ability to sense, feel, and change the emotions of others through “psychic vibrations” with her touch. Mantis first appears in the Marvel films in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Mantis Cosplay Outfit
An amazingly detailed cosplay Mantis costume! Made with detailed black and green faux leather. Included in this package are the green and black faux leather top and pants. Also included are a black faux leather belt and a pair of arm quards. The shoes are not included with the costume. They are available, however, and can be added to the package for an additional fee.
Nebula is a blue-skinned Luphomoid with cybernetic enhancements. She is an all-around mean and deadly assassin highly-trained by her adopted father, Thanos, the intergalactic warlord.
Nebula originally fought against the Guardians of the Galaxy with her father and Ronan the Accuser. She was their right-hand woman during their quest to retrieve the Orb. She deserted their quest after a fight against her sister, Gamora, and was then captured by the Sovereign.

The Sovereigns released her to the Guardians of the Galaxy who wanted to collect the bounty for her capture. She escaped only to join and lead Taserface and other Ravagers in a mutiny against their leader Yondu Udonta.
Nebula Costume Accessories
To make a long story short, she had a reconciliation with her sister and fought alongside the Guardians during a battle on Ego’s Planet to prevent the annihilation of the galaxy by Ego. Last seen, she was on a ship pursuing a revenge mission against Thanos. Next, is her role in the Avengers: Infinity War.
